Senior Level: Trade Marketing Executive (CPG)

Reports Directly to Senior Management

Our client is one of the fastest-growing consumer-packaged-goods manufacturers in the US. In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support their vision, they are currently seeking a Trade Marketing Professional. This position is the direct result of company’s growth and expansion.

Responsibilities:

Lead all aspects of assigned brand/category Trade support and be the main point of contact for Field Sales, Marketing and other pertinent departments.

Manage all elements of Trade Funding.

Support all trade elements of new item launches.

Cultivate new Trade programs.

Lead in the development, publication & implementation of the annual Chain Account & Independents (including sales support tools).

Work with Marketing (brand) teams to develop promotional strategies that exploit opportunities and enhance our selling activities.

Provide analysis to efficiently and effectively allocate resources.

Develop, analyze, and prioritize business investment and cost saving opportunities.

Provide competitive intelligence that allows Swedish Match to proactively refine it’s go-to-market strategies.

Play a “key” role in the roll-out of new products, line extensions, including new item distribution goals, volume estimates, coordination of sales materials.

Support the development of major regional sales initiatives.

Play a major role in coordination of Annual Budgeting process for Trade Development (Trade Budgets, Program Planner, Collateral Materials among others.

Play a major role in monthly and quarterly Trade Marketing Financial Forecasts.

Complete 90-day rolling forecasts for Monthly Close submission to Sr. Management.

Play an active role in the development & enhancement of our Total Trade Funds Management System.

Initiate Field Sales and Customer engagement via customer appointments and retail field visits.

Requirements:

Minimum 5- 7 years of Trade Marketing CPG Experience.

Sales experience an added plus.

Strong Leadership skills.

Strong analytical skills.

Solid business management and organization skills.

Excellent financial skills.

Project management experience.

Ability to present and sell one’s ideas throughout the organization.

Thrives on handling multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness.

Good Judgment.

Computer Proficient.

Self-Starter, Detail-Oriented, Good Follow-Up,

Bachelor’s degree in business, MBA preferred.
